Our webinar examined engagement, ecommerce readiness and the growing digital presence of Chinese brands.
Look outside the automotive bubble
Sophus3 compared automotive experiences with 35 non-automotive brands. Familiar, frequently used ecommerce services were shaping customer expectations, even when the eventual purchase was a car.
Market readiness has several dimensions
Research across more than 600 websites in 24 markets separated market health, customer readiness and the capabilities provided by brands. A willing customer cannot complete a journey that the available tools do not support.
Practical questions for digital teams
- Does the website respond to a customer as well as a showroom would?
- Are basic purchase tools available and easy to use?
- Are weak results caused by the experience, market conditions or a combination?
The original webinar also explored EV demand and Chinese brands. This summary preserves the 2024 context; it is not a current ranking of markets or websites.
