Sophus3 has been extending automotive attribution beyond click-based reporting by connecting streamed-TV exposure with subsequent customer behaviour. The approach uses privacy-safe matching derived from Sophus3's automotive benchmarking capability to associate in-market car buyers with registered streaming users, campaign exposure and later actions.

More than 10 car brands had participated in the work over the preceding 12 months when Sophus3 published its 2026 update. The purpose is to bridge the gap between brand advertising and performance measurement, giving automotive marketers a way to judge lower-funnel effects rather than relying only on media delivery.

Published Sophus3 results

  • 129% more website visits among measured exposed audiences.
  • 133% more mid-funnel actions.
  • Up to 50% higher likelihood to visit a brand site after TV exposure.
  • 38% increase in in-market behaviour in the published measurement.

The commercial implication is straightforward: streamed TV can be evaluated against real automotive behaviours, enabling media owners, agencies and OEMs to optimise investment using independent evidence rather than self-reported platform metrics.
