Targeting and independent automotive measurement, brought together.
Sophus3 has combined its automotive attribution capability with Sabio’s advertising technology. Sabio’s App Science data engine supports audience targeting across mobile and connected TV; Sophus3 adds measurement of subsequent automotive-site behaviour.
Initial findings
The reported work included a 15% increase in digital market share for the advertising brand. Exposed visitors were more likely to view advertised content, while retargeted users were more likely to visit the brand’s site than those exposed to the CTV advertisement alone.
The 15% figure is reported as an increase, not a 15-percentage-point gain. The post did not supply numerical uplifts for the other two findings.
Connecting the evidence
Sophus3’s approach draws on eDataXchange and uses IP-address matching to examine subsequent activity on the brand’s site. Such measurement needs the appropriate privacy controls and permissions for its implementation.
Sabio’s DJ Agahi described the partnership as bringing targeting capabilities together with Sophus3’s automotive knowledge. For our team, the aim is practical: give brands a clearer view of their investment in streamed television, using behaviour they can examine rather than delivery figures alone.
